Director, Leverage Finance Credit Risk Specialist

Citigroup Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Credit Risk Director to join our Leveraged Finance team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing leadership and expertise in credit risk management, ensuring that our clients' financial transactions are conducted in a safe and sound manner.
Key Responsibilities- Manage Credit Risk: Oversee the credit risk management process for leveraged finance transactions, ensuring that all transactions are conducted in accordance with Citigroup's risk management policies and procedures.
- Lead Credit Approval Process: Lead the credit approval process for leveraged finance transactions, working closely with our clients and internal stakeholders to ensure that all transactions are properly evaluated and approved.
- Develop Credit Risk Models: Develop and maintain credit risk models to assess the creditworthiness of our clients and their transactions.
- Monitor Credit Risk: Monitor credit risk exposure and provide regular updates to senior management on credit risk trends and issues.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including our Leveraged Finance Underwriting Group, to ensure that all transactions are properly evaluated and approved.
- Senior Credit Officer Approval Authority: Must have current Senior Credit Officer approval authority with at least 10 years of experience in credit and structuring.
- Complex Credit Risk Management Experience: Must have experience in complex credit risk management roles, with a strong understanding of credit risk management policies and procedures.
- Strong Analytical and Communication Skills: Must have strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex credit risk information to senior management and other stakeholders.
- Business Acumen: Must have a strong understanding of business acumen, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and make informed credit risk decisions.
