Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at The Arc Erie County New York. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in providing quality care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating, assessing, treating, and consulting with other professionals to provide comprehensive speech therapy services. You will work closely with our team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, ensuring that each person receives the best possible care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and assess individuals with communication and swallowing disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address specific goals and objectives
  • Provide speech therapy services, including assessment, treatment, and consultation
  • Collaborate with other professionals, including occupational therapists, physical therapists, and psychologists
  • Document progress and maintain accurate records
  • Train staff and caregivers on communication and feeding/swallowing techniques
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current licensure in New York State (with the exception of CFY)
  • ASHA certification preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

We offer a competitive salary range of $29-$35 per hour, based on experience. Our Full-Time positions are Monday-Friday, with no evenings, weekends, or holidays. We also offer a fun and rewarding work environment, with opportunities for advancement and professional growth.
