Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Computer Operator to join our team at Abacus Technology Corporation. As a key member of our technical support team, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and resolving complex operating problems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Resolve a variety of difficult operating problems, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal system performance.
  • Review computer output instructions and error conditions, developing processes and procedures to prevent data loss and conserve computer resources.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior operators, as well as collaborate with programmers, systems analysts, and subject matter experts to resolve complex issues.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 3+ years of experience in a technical support role, with a strong background in computer operations and troubleshooting.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent, as well as a Security+ certification (or equivalent) in compliance with DoD 8570 IAT II.
  • Excellent customer service skills, including effective communication and professionalism.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
