Job Description:

In accordance with state and federal regulations, assists the pharmacist in the practice of pharmacy, under direct supervision. Performs various tasks to support the pharmacy department, including processing prescriptions, maintaining inventory, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assists pharmacists in the performance of pharmacy duties, including filling prescriptions, verifying medication, and checking for potential interactions.
  • Maintains accurate records and reports, including prescription errors and inventory management.
  • Provides exceptional customer service, answering questions and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assists with inventory management, including ordering, unpacking, and storing pharmaceuticals.
  • Participates in training and development programs to maintain knowledge and skills in pharmacy operations and customer service.
Requirements:
  • Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
  • Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
  • Prefer good math skills and computer skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prefer PTCB certification.
  • Prefer knowledge of store inventory control.
