About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Architect to join our team at Planate Management Group. As a Senior Project Architect, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Inspections: Conduct thorough technical inspections of architectural elements to ensure compliance with design parameters.
  • Construction Oversight: Monitor construction progress, submit weekly progress reports, and provide recommendations based on technical reviews.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct quality assurance tasks by inspecting and ensuring corrective actions are taken.
  • Contractor Management: Review contractor submittals for compliance with contract requirements and monitor the construction contractor's quality assurance and safety program.
  • Coordination and Communication: Identify and resolve coordination issues with other disciplines and work collaboratively with the Project Director and Construction Manager.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Prepare construction reports detailing progress and provide solutions for identified problems.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in architecture from an accredited U.S. university (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience: Minimum of seven (7) years experience on construction projects of similar scope and dollar value; Overseas experience is preferred.
  • Clearance: Final Secret, Interim Top Secret (ITS), or Final Top Secret (TS) clearance issued by DCSA is required.
  • Skills: Must be able to read design/construction drawings and be able to understand design narratives and calculations. Knowledge of International Codes and Construction Safety regulations (e.g., EM, OSHA) is required.
  • Soft Skills: Strong ability to interpret drawings, conduct technical inspections, and resolve construction-related issues. Must have experience in assessing and responding to Requests for Information (RFI). Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) is required.
