About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Director to join our US Office team at Sirius Analysis Limited. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in driving the strategic growth of our customer network and managing our technical capability in the delivery of external facing projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver the strategy for our US business, working closely with the main board directors to devise a business plan aligned with the company's growth targets.
  • Provide strategic oversight of the delivery of programs and projects, primarily within NATO and federal defense-based arenas.
  • Lead the delivery and capability teams' performance on a day-to-day basis.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to develop and provide training to existing employees, as well as the recruitment of new team members.
  • Establish and maintain partnerships and relationships with external specialist organizations to support the business's growth and development in the local area.
  • Work closely with the Marketing team to develop the Sirius Analysis Limited brand in our targeted sectors.
  • Act as the lead and point of escalation for all active programs and clients.
  • Define project and delivery objectives and oversee quality control throughout the lifecycle.
  • Deliver projects to time, cost, and quality budgets.
  • Support project teams through the review of plans and proposals, ensuring value for money and delivery of plans as required.
  • Build new client relationships and maintain successful working relationships with our current customers.
  • Maintain working relationships with project teams and third-party suppliers.
  • Identify and win work in line with the company's business objectives.
About You

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate the following essential attributes:

  • An experienced business leader in the defense consultancy arena.
  • Technical and business development experience within the US defense consultancy sector.
  • Experience in developing and successfully delivering business strategies.
  • Proven experience in developing teams in the delivery and technical capabilities of Cost, P3M, Systems Engineering, and Operational Research Analysis.
  • Ability to hit the ground running and work on own initiative using your wealth of experience and knowledge of establishing program management functions.
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to build high-performing teams.
  • Evidence of continuous professional development in project management.
  • Demonstratable skills in stakeholder management, including influencing, negotiating, and conflict management across multi-national and multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Demonstratable experience and capability in writing proposals and coordinating bid management activity.
Requirements
  1. Candidates must have an existing right to live and work in the US.
  2. Candidates will need to undergo an internal Security check prior to gaining site access.
  3. Candidates will also need to either hold a current Security clearance or be willing and eligible to undergo a Security Clearance check (SC level) upon starting their employment with the company.
