Job Title: VP, Quantity Surveying and Contracting

Prime Data Centers is seeking a highly skilled and experienced VP, Quantity Surveying and Contracting to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing the quantity surveying function and contract delivery from general contractors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the financial aspects of construction projects, from initial cost estimates to final project closeout.
  • Ensure that construction projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Provide accurate cost assessments, monitor project budgets, and identify potential risks and uncertainties related to project costs.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring that costs are controlled throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with the project team to identify opportunities for value engineering and cost savings without compromising quality.
  • Prepare regular reports on project costs, budget status, and financial performance.
Requirements:
  • 15+ years of experience in quantity surveying or related experience; data center industry experience highly preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling and market analysis.
  • Knowledge of local zoning laws, permitting processes, and environmental regulations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to thorough research and analysis.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
