Position Overview

This role will be based at our headquarters and will report directly to the Vice President. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with colleagues across various locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Gather and prepare all necessary documentation for the HUD 2530 Management approval process.
  • Oversee the 9832 Management Entity Profile and 9839b Project Owner's/Management Agent's Certification.
  • Serve as the administrator for setup and user maintenance of Secure Systems.
  • Supervise and respond to all annual MOR and REAC reviews.
  • Coordinate and attend annual MOR and REAC reviews as required.
  • Act as the primary contact for associates and external HUD offices.
  • Submit HUD OCAF increase approvals in collaboration with contract administrators.
  • Facilitate the preparation of annual financial documents for client reporting.
  • Maintain master records in the HUD Tracker.
  • Ensure comprehensive understanding of HUD programs across all properties.
  • Provide guidance to on-site associates regarding HUD compliance and policies.
  • Participate in company-sponsored training sessions.
  • Maintain compliance with all required HUD certifications.
  • Support various departments on projects as compliance schedules allow.
  • Stay informed of all relevant HUD regulations and changes, communicating updates to property management staff.
  • Collaborate closely with property management to address compliance-related issues and provide necessary support.
  • Oversee annual green program audits as mandated by HUD.
  • Conduct regular audits of tenant files to ensure adherence to HUD regulations and guidelines.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in HUD compliance.
  • Prior experience with HUD's APPS system is preferred.
  • Exceptional attention to detail is essential.
  • In-depth knowledge of HUD market rate and LURA compliance.
  • Availability to work at the Dallas headquarters Monday through Friday.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
