About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at Raytheon. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for planning and executing manufacturing operations, ensuring the highest quality and efficiency in our processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in ERB/CCB, LOB, and production increment planning to ensure seamless collaboration between the factory and program teams.
  • Provide effectivities for variances, IRs, and CNs to ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Communicate effectively between the factory and program teams, informing each of major issues and changes.
  • Keep Manufacturing Engineers informed of approved variances, CNs, and other changes that affect their hardware.
  • Communicate across different factory levels to ensure smooth operations.
  • Create and manage Material Master and MBOM requests to ensure accurate inventory and production planning.
  • Address large-scale quality issues that impact the factory, working closely with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.
  • Understand hardware configurations planned for contracts and ensure the factory is prepared to meet production demands.
  • Assist with future contract proposals by providing BOMs for applicable hardware configurations and other tasks.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives Access (ATF) clearance.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with manufacturing, SAP/PRISM, lean manufacturing, technical writing, and project execution.
  • Strong engineering aptitude and analytical skills, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Technical problem-solving skills and experience with interpretation of technical documentation.
