Manufacturing Process Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our team at Crossroads Manufacturing. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes to ensure efficient and high-quality production.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and improve existing manufacturing processes to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Develop and implement new manufacturing processes and technologies to enhance product quality and reduce production costs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless production flow and identify areas for improvement.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for production issues and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
  • Monitor process performance and recommend adjustments as necessary to maintain optimal production levels.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation related to process changes and improvements to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Train and mentor production staff on new processes and best practices to ensure a smooth transition and improved productivity.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in process engineering.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box.
  • Proficiency in CAD software and process simulation tools to design and optimize manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies is a plus, but not required.
