Job Overview

Direct Counsel, LLC is actively seeking a skilled Labor and Employment Legal Counsel to become a part of our esteemed legal practice. As a specialized law practice concentrating on employment law, we represent both small enterprises and large corporations in various legal matters. Our team consists of highly proficient attorneys who are dedicated to championing the rights of both employees and employers.

In your capacity as a Labor and Employment Legal Counsel, you will take charge of representing clients in numerous workplace law cases, including wage disputes, discrimination allegations, wrongful dismissal claims, and more. You will oversee all facets of the litigation process, which encompasses legal research, drafting legal documents, and participating in hearings and trials. Our firm promotes a culture of collaboration, allowing you to work closely with fellow attorneys and support personnel to deliver comprehensive legal assistance and strategic advice to our clients.

Qualifications

  • At least 3-5 years of experience in employment law practice.
  • Juris Doctorate from an accredited law institution.
  • Active membership in the State Bar.
  • In-depth understanding of federal and state employment legislation and regulations.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proven capability to manage a caseload and effectively prioritize responsibilities.
  • Experience in both defense and plaintiff employment law cases is preferred.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively.
