Seattle, Washington, United States Terminix Full time

Immediate Benefits for Full-Time Team Members - No Waiting Period

We are proud to be part of the Rentokil family of companies, a global leader in Pest Management and various services across over 90 countries. We take pride in being a reliable partner to many of the world's foremost brands, serving both consumer and business clients across diverse sectors. Our legacy of excellence drives us to fulfill our mission to "protect people, enhance lives, and preserve the planet."

Dynamic, engaging, and trustworthy professionals.

That's who we seek in our sales team.

At Terminix, our sales professionals are relationship builders and solution providers. They are the driving force behind our success, and we reward them with a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, a 401(k) with company match, and more. We also provide opportunities for training, skill development, and career advancement.

Initially, as you embark on your sales journey with Terminix, you will engage in hands-on learning. You will acquire the skills to inspect and identify infestations (or potential infestations) of various organisms, including insects, birds, and other pests. This foundational knowledge will empower you to enhance the safety and security of your clients' properties. Once you have mastered this, you will leverage your talents to create proposals and presentations that lead to successful sales.

As a Commercial Sales Executive, here's what you can anticipate

You will enjoy the freedom of mobility, working independently while advancing your career with clear progression opportunities. You will represent Terminix in your local community, supported by a reputable national brand, and your clients will rely on you to safeguard their businesses and livelihoods. Upon joining Terminix, you will undergo a comprehensive training program. After obtaining the necessary state licenses and certifications, you will take charge of your own customer accounts. Your efforts will be rewarded with competitive compensation and extensive benefits for you and your family. As a valued team member, you will have access to a 401(k) with company matching, company-paid life insurance, tuition reimbursement, and a generous student loan repayment program. Your hard work will yield significant rewards. You will be part of a community that values strong relationships. Our connections at Terminix are deep-rooted, and the relationships we cultivate in the communities we serve are unmatched. Our team members actively contribute through volunteering, donations, scholarships, and more. You will receive top-notch onboarding and training. You will be compensated while obtaining your licenses, which will benefit you for a lifetime. You will also gain valuable skills for managing pest issues at home.

A glimpse into your daily responsibilities

Engage in training modules and practical on-the-job training with your colleagues. You will acquire product knowledge and sales techniques for promoting the full range of Terminix services. We will guide and support you through state licensing and other company requirements. You will conduct precise inspections and assessments of pest issues, recommending Terminix solutions in accordance with company policies and pricing guidelines. A strong focus on customer experience is essential — delivering exceptional service, following up to ensure satisfaction, and creatively nurturing client relationships. You will need to navigate the complexities of commercial properties and management effectively. If an account is overdue, you will handle it with professionalism and efficiency. You will actively seek new business opportunities by meeting and engaging potential customers. There is potential for growth into a role that aligns with your passions and skills, whether in management or another area within Terminix.

Essential Qualifications

To join Terminix as a Commercial Sales Executive, you will need to meet certain criteria:

A high school diploma or GED. A valid driver's license from your state of residence. Strong customer service, communication, and critical thinking abilities — prior experience or training in sales would be advantageous. Basic math skills — ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in various units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. You will need to follow instructions for mixing product solutions.

Physical Demands of the Role

The essential functions of this position come with physical demands (reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities). Here’s what to expect:

Ability to regularly lift up to 10 lbs. and frequently lift 11–20 lbs., which may involve carrying, pushing, pulling, or repositioning objects. You will be active throughout the day — regularly sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling. You will navigate stairs, ladders, scaffolding, ramps, and poles, requiring balance when walking, standing, or crouching on narrow or slippery surfaces. You must be capable of safely operating a motor vehicle and ensuring that it and all other equipment are maintained in a clean condition. Vision to perform detail-oriented tasks at close distances. You may need to wear personal protective equipment (PPE), such as an OSHA-compliant respirator, and be comfortable working in confined spaces or narrow passageways.
