Midas LEGGETT AUTO is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Service Director to manage and direct all service department activities of a retail store engaged in selling tires and related automotive parts and mechanical services.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service while listening and consulting customers, following up with customers, services requested, estimated completion times, etc.
- Vehicle Inspections: Oversee complete vehicle inspections and make comprehensive recommendations, building computerized repair orders and sourcing parts.
- Pricing and Estimates: Deliver and discuss pricing estimates with customers, as well as promoting shop service specials.
- Team Leadership: Lead, manage, and train team members while keeping in tune with our company's vision, purpose, core values, and employee creed.
- Facility Management: Supervise up to ten employees, oversee technicians' inspections, diagnosing and repairing of domestic, European and Asian cars and light trucks, maintain inventory counts, and ensure overall cleanliness and organization of the facility.
- General Automotive Knowledge: Possess general automotive knowledge and excellent customer service disposition.
- Leadership Ability: Demonstrate good communication skills, leadership ability, team building skills, and the ability to work a flexible retail schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Valid Driver's License: Possess a valid driver's license.
