Position Overview:
As an Insurance Defense Attorney, you will be responsible for:
  • Representing clients in various insurance defense litigation cases, including motor vehicle accidents, construction disputes, and premises liability claims.
  • Drafting, reviewing, and amending legal documents such as pleadings and motions.
  • Responding to discovery requests and preparing clients for depositions.
  • Conducting depositions and defending clients’ interests throughout the legal process.
  • Providing legal counsel on insurance defense issues while staying informed on industry trends.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to ensure effective case management.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations during legal proceedings.
Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctorate from an accredited institution.
  • Active state bar admission in good standing.
  • At least 2 years of experience in insurance defense litigation, particularly in motor vehicle, construction, and premises liability cases.
  • Proven skills in drafting legal documents and handling discovery processes.
  • Experience in conducting depositions.
  • Understanding of the technology sector and its legal implications.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the capability to articulate complex legal concepts.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively, managing multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Dedication to maintaining high ethical standards and professional integrity.
