Position Overview
Key Responsibilities:
- Advocate for technology clients in insurance defense cases, encompassing motor vehicle incidents, construction disputes, and premises liability.
- Prepare, review, and modify legal documents including pleadings and motions.
- Address written discovery inquiries and prepare clients for legal depositions.
- Conduct and defend depositions, ensuring client interests are prioritized.
- Offer legal insights and advice on insurance defense issues, staying informed on current legal trends within the technology sector.
- Work collaboratively with fellow attorneys, paralegals, and support personnel to guarantee effective case management.
- Ensure adherence to all applicable state and federal regulations throughout legal proceedings.
- Juris Doctorate from an accredited law institution.
- Active state bar admission and in good standing.
- At least 2 years of experience in insurance defense litigation, particularly in motor vehicle, construction disputes, and premises liability.
- Proficient in drafting legal documents and responding to discovery requests.
- Experience in conducting and defending depositions.
- Knowledge of the technology sector and its specific legal challenges.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of articulating complex legal arguments effectively.
- Able to work autonomously and collaboratively, managing various priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Dedication to upholding the highest standards of professional ethics and integrity.
