Position Overview:
As an Insurance Defense Attorney, you will be responsible for:
  • Defending clients in insurance-related litigation, including motor vehicle accidents, construction disputes, and premises liability cases.
  • Preparing, reviewing, and modifying legal documents such as pleadings and motions.
  • Managing written discovery requests and preparing clients for depositions.
  • Conducting depositions to safeguard client interests.
  • Providing expert legal counsel on insurance defense issues, staying informed on current trends in the legal landscape.
  • Collaborating with fellow attorneys and support staff to ensure effective case management.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant legal regulations throughout the litigation process.
Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctorate from an accredited institution.
  • Active state bar admission in good standing.
  • At least 2 years of experience in insurance defense litigation, particularly in motor vehicle, construction, and premises liability.
  • Proficient in drafting legal documents and responding to discovery requests.
  • Experience in conducting depositions.
  • Knowledge of the technology sector and its specific legal challenges.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of articulating complex legal concepts.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively, managing multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Dedication to upholding the highest standards of professional ethics.
