Job Title: Supplier Quality Assurance Specialist

Carus is seeking a highly skilled Supplier Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our suppliers meet the highest standards of quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform audits and assessments of suppliers to ensure compliance with quality and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement supplier development projects to improve the quality of materials supplied to Carus.
  • Oversee compliance with NSF, Kosher, KIWA, and Halal regulations globally.
  • Collaborate with the Quality Control Manager to standardize quality planning, testing, and inspection processes across locations.
  • Support Belmont Site QMS with analytical methods and questions, specialty testing, and performing or coordinating 3rd party calibration/analysis as required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, material science, or related field with five or more years of hands-on experience in quality assurance or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, Visio, Minitab, and applied statistics.
  • Knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, ANSI, and EPA regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and systems implementation skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
