Job Title: Supplier Quality Assurance Specialist

Carus is seeking a highly skilled Supplier Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our suppliers meet the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform audits and assessments of suppliers to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Develop and implement supplier development projects to improve the quality of materials supplied to Carus.
  • Oversee compliance with regulatory requirements, including NSF, Kosher, KIWA, and Halal.
  • Collaborate with the Quality Control Manager to standardize quality processes and procedures across locations.
  • Review and address any issues with raw material Certificates of Analysis.
  • Support the Belmont Site QMS with analytical methods and questions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, material science, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in quality assurance, quality control, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, Visio, Minitab, and documentation software.
  • Knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, ANSI, and EPA regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
