Job Summary:

BTIG is seeking an Equity Research Associate to assist the Senior Analyst focusing on Real Estate Homebuilding. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting primary research, including financial analysis, due diligence on industry trends, and company management and strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare financial models for analysis, company updates, and recommendations for clients.
  • Keep senior analysts informed of daily news flow.
  • Conduct industry and company-specific research through surveys, polling, and primary data collection methods.
  • Assist in writing comprehensive reports on research ideas, investment themes, data analysis, and industry/company breaking news.
  • Maintain relationships with company management teams, industry contacts, internal sales and trading personnel, and institutional investors.

Requirements and Qualifications:
  • 1-3 years of experience in investment banking or equity research preferred.
  • Strong work ethic, resourcefulness, and critical thinking skills.
  • Demonstrated interest in Real Estate/Homebuilding or related sectors.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to create and maintain financial models and forecasts.
  • Series SIE, 63, 86 & 87 licensing preferred, but not required upon hiring.
