Private Equity Investment Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Investment Associate to join our Private Equity and Real Estate team in San Francisco. As a key contributor to our team, you will be responsible for supporting the investment diligence process, portfolio management, and process management.
Key Responsibilities- Support rigorous and comprehensive due diligence of private equity, venture capital, and real estate primary fund investments.
- Lead and support research and analysis on investment opportunities, industry trends, and market dynamics across the private equity asset class.
- Create materials for internal investment committee consideration, including transaction information, company/opportunity financial analyses, due diligence findings, and investment recommendation.
- Support ongoing diligence and monitoring of investment managers and opportunities, including formal quarterly and annual reporting processes.
- Assist in portfolio management function for pooled investment vehicles.
- Undergraduate degree with a strong track record of academic achievement.
- Two to three years of prior work experience in a professional services role (e.g., asset management, investment banking, management consulting, accounting, corporate development).
- Experience in private equity investing is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
- Aptitude for rigorous qualitative and quantitative analysis delivered via an answer-first communication style.
- Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
- Strong work ethic, good attention to detail, and ability to multi-task.
- Team player attitude with a desire to work on a wide range of projects.
- High intellectual curiosity and willingness to contribute to the overall success of the business.
We offer a competitive compensation package, including a base salary range of $105,000 to $130,000, performance-based incentive, and profit share program.
