**Customer Service Representative - Construction**

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Representative to join our team at Werner Electric Supply. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our construction industry customers. You will be the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, resolving issues, and providing solutions to meet their needs.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and fax in a timely and professional manner* Process customer requests for bids and orders, ensuring accuracy and efficiency* Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, purchasing, and product management, to resolve customer issues and provide solutions* Utilize various portals and websites to navigate customer requests and provide quick and accurate responses* Provide product documentation, including spec sheets and MSDS, to customers as needed* Review daily reports to manage open orders and bids, expediting as required to meet customer deadlines* Entice potential new customers to do business with Werner Electric Supply, responding to incoming calls and emails* Support account managers in coordinating communication and activity with customers, including sending product demos, samples, and literature* Work with internal product managers and vendor partners to navigate technical requirements of products and establish strong vendor partnerships* Interface with the purchasing department as needed for special orders, pricing, and inventory management* Provide feedback to sales, purchasing, and product managers on customer feedback and lost sales opportunities* Follow corporate processes for direct purchasing and secure pre-payment of staged product* Work with the pricing department to manage customer pricing, load project pricing, and limit manual overrides* Work with the accounting department on line of credit matters, invoice discrepancies, credit/rebills, and credit card processing* Work closely with the warehouse team to investigate and resolve customer feedback on product deliveries and late deliveries* Coordinate with the RGA team to return product from customers and navigate warranty, repair, and service* Support quality initiatives and improvements, maintaining a tidy work area and providing suggestions for improvement* Adhere to safety practices and procedures* Participate in after-hour customer support* Perform other related duties as assigned, including administrative/office duties, deliveries, warehouse pick orders, and backup coverage for counter sales
