The Production Assembler is tasked with executing fundamental assembly operations to produce goods efficiently and promptly while adhering to quality benchmarks. Responsibilities include verifying materials before assembly, examining work instructions, constructing products according to specifications and tolerances, maintaining cleanliness and organization, and complying with all quality, safety, and operational regulations, including the use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:


• Capability to perform repetitive assembly tasks in a manufacturing setting.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:


• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in manufacturing, with familiarity in production processes or related fields.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Utilizes work instructions, diagrams, schematics, and electronic assembly tools to carry out assembly tasks while adhering to safe and efficient operational standards for all equipment and tools.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES MAY INCLUDE:


• Following established protocols, processes, or guidelines.


• Demonstrating consistent attendance, quality workmanship, attention to detail, and adherence to safety regulations.
• Engaging in team discussions to share job-related insights.


• Addressing issues with support from colleagues or supervisors based on the complexity of the situation.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:


• Detail-oriented and methodical.


• Effective communication skills within a team context.


• Takes accountability for personal actions and follows through on commitments.


• Ability to comprehend and execute basic assembly procedures, interpret simple visual diagrams, and utilize basic hand tools.


• Proficient in basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills.

Physical Requirements: While performing the responsibilities of this position, the employee is frequently required to communicate verbally and audibly; manipulate objects or controls with hands. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. Occasionally, the individual may need to stoop, bend, or reach overhead. The employee must be able to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally. Specific job conditions involve frequent and continuous computer-based tasks requiring extended periods of sitting, close vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Occasional travel may be necessary.
