Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Assembly Specialist to join our team at Generac Power Systems. As an Assembly Specialist, you will be responsible for performing complex assembly work within tight tolerance and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Perform complex assembly work within tolerance and quality standards at the defined rate.
- Flex to multiple workstations based on business needs.
- Suggest and implement improvements to existing equipment, designs, and/or processes to improve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity.
- Retrieve information as needed within our ERP system.
- Provide training to employees on work instructions/standard work.
- Contribute to identifying problems and implementing appropriate countermeasures.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- At least 1 year of complex assembly or related experience.
This role requires:
- Regularly standing and walking.
- Occasional stooping, bending, or reaching above the shoulders.
- Lifting up to pounds.
- Continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision, and ability to adjust focus.
