Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer I to join our team at Blue Origin. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing new or revised manufacturing processes for the efficient and economical production of aerospace products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply standard engineering methods to design, develop, and implement new or revised manufacturing processes.
  • Integrate design requirements into processes and procedures through research and development of manufacturing methods, tooling, and equipment.
  • Lead planning and development of engineering artifacts to enable the turning of raw materials into finished and discrete products that satisfy design/system requirements.
  • Provide guidance to design engineering on technical specifications that will best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques.
  • Ensure that production processes and procedures are in compliance with contract specifications and applicable regulations.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a B.S. degree in manufacturing engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team on rapid development programs.
  • Strong written, verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for Blue's Mission with a strong desire to continuously learn and improve.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • M.S. degree in manufacturing, mechanical, or a related field.
  • Compensation range for on-site CO applicants is $64,020 - $89,628.
  • Compensation range for on-site WA applicants is $69,840 - $97,776.
  • Compensation range for on-site CA applicants is $69,840 - $97,776.
