Job Summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a skilled Senior Payroll Accountant to manage US payroll accounts, including taxes, benefits, and month-end close tasks. This role reports to the Senior Accounting Manager and involves partnering with HR and other departments to ensure payroll accuracy and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process payroll and related tax journal entries for areas like 401(k), medical benefits, bonuses, and more.
  • Perform monthly payroll reconciliations and resolve outstanding items.
  • Work with HR and other teams to manage payroll accounting issues.
  • Support new business initiatives and implement payroll-related processes.
  • Assist in month-end close and prepare payroll reports.
  • Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with payroll regulations.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements.
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of payroll tax laws and regulations.
  • Experience with payroll systems (Ceridian, ADP) and financial systems (Oracle, SAP).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerBI.
  • Ability to work independently, solve problems, and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills.
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 5+ years of payroll and general ledger experience, preferably in a global company.

Pay Details: $50.00 to $54.66 per hour
