As a Site Manager Optometry, you will oversee the activities of the optometry department, ensuring quality, service, and cost management. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with established regulations and guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and manage the optometry staff to ensure high-quality patient care and services.
- Monitor and maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory requirements and departmental policies.
- Develop and implement action plans to improve staff development and quality improvement initiatives.
- Manage day-to-day clinical practice standards, staffing, payroll, budgets, and fiscal management.
- Investigate and resolve member concerns regarding patient care and services.
- Minimum five (5) years of experience as a practicing optometrist required.
- Minimum three (3) years of experience in managing professional staff required.
- Graduate from an accredited school of optometry.
- High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.
- Optometrist License (California) and National Provider Identifier required at hire.
Demonstrated knowledge of quality improvement, clinical care delivery processes, staffing, and budgeting. Demonstrated interpersonal communication skills. Knowledge of federal, state, and local requirements. Ability to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.
