Job Summary
We are seeking a Utilization Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with our CASAC Counselors and supervisory staff to ensure compliance with external and internal utilization review/quality and appropriateness requirements.
Responsibilities
- Assist in ensuring compliance with external and internal utilization review/quality and appropriateness requirements
- Work closely with CASAC Counselors and supervisory staff to achieve agency goals
- Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination
- Stay up-to-date with relevant regulations and guidelines
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Services required
- Master's degree in Social Work or related field strongly preferred
- Minimum of one year clinical or quality assurance experience in behavioral healthcare/human services organization
- Excellent customer service experience
- In-depth knowledge of HIPAA, OASAS, and 42 CFR regulations
