Surgical Physician Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Surgical Physician Assistant to join our team at Nuvance Health Med Practice PC. As a Surgical Physician Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our surgical services.
Responsibilities:- Assist in the operating room for various surgical procedures, including general, plastic, spine, bariatric, and OB/GYN cases.
- Round on general surgery patients daily, working closely with attendings, residents, and students to ensure optimal patient care.
- Provide consults and admissions for general surgeons, utilizing your expertise to make informed decisions.
- Participate in night coverage, providing first assisting for emergent OR cases, admissions, and consults for general surgery.
- Perform floor procedures, including NG tube insertion and removal, wound vac and dressing changes, and bedside I&D.
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program and NCCPA certified.
- Strong surgical and patient management experience, with a minimum of one to three years of experience preferred.
