Operations Manager Job Description

The Operations Manager will play a crucial role in delivering an exceptional member experience at Crunch Fitness - Northeast Florida. This individual will be responsible for the successful operation of the front desk and related departments, ensuring seamless service delivery and high-quality customer care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administration and Organization: Demonstrate a thorough understanding of standard operating procedures and policies, communicating and implementing them effectively to employees.
  • Operations: Foster a professional and welcoming atmosphere, enhancing the quality of service and care offered to members. Serve as the lead customer service contact for members at the front desk, resolving complaints in a timely and tactful manner.
  • Sales and Revenue Management: Support company programs and promotions to drive new sales leads, leading and training staff on sales activities, and ensuring a high level of knowledge about club promotions, facilities, classes, and equipment.
  • Leadership: Provide an inspirational environment, encouraging honest feedback and a quality working environment. Recruit and hire high-caliber staff, serving as a role model and promoting a professional atmosphere.
Accountabilities:
  • Implement and support company programs and promotions to drive new sales leads.
  • Oversee expense goals by managing payroll and general and administrative expenses.
  • Ensure the club meets Crunch standards for cleanliness, maintenance, safety, security, and physical plant operations.
Measurement Standards:
  • Achievement of key performance indicators set on a monthly/annual basis.
  • Successful management of all financial budgetary goals.
  • Net Promoter Scores and Social Media Feedback Scores.
  • Membership retention.

Requirements:

  • Fitness management experience preferred.
  • Current CPR Certification required.

  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Bilingual a major bonus.
