Safety Engagement Specialist

McGee Air Services is seeking a highly skilled Safety Engagement Specialist to join our Corporate Safety & Compliance Team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in safety promotion and communication, with the ability to develop and implement effective safety programs and initiatives.
The Safety Engagement Specialist will play a critical role in translating complex safety data into engaging and easily understandable messages for diverse audiences across the organization. This includes collaborating with the Quality Control team to ensure that safety communication is data-driven and leverages the latest safety trends, analysis, and insights.
The successful candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt messaging to diverse audiences and stakeholders. They will also have a proven track record of developing and executing successful safety promotion strategies in a complex, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement safety programs and initiatives to promote a culture of safety and quality within the organization.
- Collaborate with the Quality Control team to ensure that safety communication is data-driven and leverages the latest safety trends, analysis, and insights.
- Develop engaging and informative content, including PowerPoint presentations, newsletters, briefs, and other materials, to effectively communicate safety messages to diverse audiences.
- Analyze and report on McGee's safety communication strategic initiatives and provide data-informed recommendations for process improvement and optimization.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on safety promotion best practices, providing guidance and support to station-level Operations and Safety personnel.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as safety, communication, or a related field.
- Two (2) years of experience in a safety-related role, with a proven track record of developing and executing successful safety promotion strategies.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt messaging to diverse audiences and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation, with the ability to translate complex safety data into actionable insights and compelling narratives.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple initiatives and stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes.
