Job Title: Client Service Associate

A Client Service Associate plays a vital role in delivering exceptional client service as a dedicated member of a client service team at Oxford Financial Group, Ltd. This position requires a commitment to client service through timely, confidential responses, and a positive attitude.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Client contact and relationship management
  • Preparation and review of client-focused presentation materials
  • Troubleshooting client issues and directing efforts to conclusion
  • Coordination of obtaining required information for support teams and reviewing internal delegations and projects for accuracy, completeness, timeliness, and ease of presentation
  • Contacting outside advisors, custodians, etc. for assistance
  • Preparation and updating of Financial Statements for clients, including related analysis
  • Following policies and procedures for Financial Statements
  • Reviewing information received and incorporating it into the Financial Statement
  • Preparing analysis accurately, concisely, and with attention to detail
  • Preparation of paperwork for account opening, money movement, or other account administration-related items
  • Identifying and preparing all required account documentation based on client needs and registration
  • Coordination of loan or margin obtainment/renewal documents
  • Initiation of the Investment Policy Statement (IPS) process
  • Following policies and procedures for Investment Policy Statements
  • Identifying relevant information needed for IPS generation
  • Preparing requests for IPS review and approval
  • Handling certain required administrative tasks, attending internal meetings, and participating in internal training sessions for continuous technical development
  • Monitoring and controlling client profitability through accurate TimeTracker entries
  • Attending team and firm meetings
  • Staying current with technical developments and resources, Oxford's Approved Manager Report, and investment and allocation strategies
Qualifications:
  • College degree in a related field or equivalent experience in a related field
  • 3+ years of financial services operational experience required
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Word, with excellent computer skills in Excel
  • Strong analytical skills, accurate attention to detail, and the ability to interpret/analyze data
  • Professional demeanor with utmost respect for confidential matters
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Strong work ethic with a positive attitude
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask
  • Ability to work in a high-stress, fast-paced environment
  • Self-starter and results-oriented
Working Conditions:
  • Limited travel as business needs necessitate
  • Long periods of sitting, utilizing a computer
  • Working onsite daily
