Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper to join our team at PassionHR Inc. The ideal candidate will have experience in accounts receivable and accounts payable, as well as proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite.

This is a temp-to-hire position with the potential for permanent employment after completing a 90-day probationary period. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and assisting with payroll.

Responsibilities
  • Handle daily financial transactions, including the submission of invoices and the processing of payments for both accounts receivable and accounts payable.
  • Reconcile statements, prepare monthly sales tax submissions, and generate financial reports.
  • Process bi-weekly payroll and maintain employee records.
  • Develop spreadsheets to organize financial data and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in bookkeeping, particularly with A/R and A/P processes.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with payroll processing and sales tax submissions is highly preferred.
  • An Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is desired.
