Key Responsibilities- Convey thoughts and intentions quickly and accurately into a target language, maintaining cultural competence and integrity of the conversation.
- Provide language solutions through on-site and remote interpreting, including phone and video services.
- Communicate professionally and conduct interpreting sessions with discretion and confidentiality.
- Native fluency in Lao and English.
- Excellent listening, speaking, and retention skills.
- Experience and comfortability using medical terminology.
- Ability to travel to multiple locations throughout designated regions.
- Possess a valid driver's license and current auto insurance.
- Available to work regular business hours (8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) and have flexibility.
- Must pass screening assessment, background checks, and drug screenings, as well as verification of work authorization.
- Possess or be willing to obtain medical clearances, including TB, MMR, Varicella proof of immunity, and up-to-date vaccinations, including COVID-19 and boosters unless exempt.
