Job Summary

Language World Services, Inc. is seeking a skilled Vietnamese Interpreter to join our team of elite professionals. As a key member of our language solutions team, you will play a vital role in bridging the divides of language and culture.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Convey thoughts and intentions quickly and accurately into a target language, ensuring cultural competence and message integrity.
  • Provide language solutions through on-site and remote interpreting, including phone and video services.
  • Communicate professionally and conduct interpreting sessions with ease.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA requirements.

Requirements:

  • Native fluency in English and Vietnamese.
  • Excellent listening, speaking, and retention skills.
  • Experience and comfortability using medical terminology.
  • Ability to travel to multiple locations and possess a valid CA driver's license and current auto insurance.
  • Flexibility to work regular business hours (8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) and pass screening assessments, background checks, and drug screenings.
  • Possess medical clearances, including TB, MMR, Varicella proof of immunity, and up-to-date vaccinations, including COVID-19.
