About the Opportunity

We are seeking a talented Registered Nurse to join our team as a Staff Development Program Coordinator at Fulton Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare, located near Albany and Syracuse, New York.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing staff development programs, maintaining educational records, and participating in QAPI meetings and projects. You will also collaborate with the Director of Quality and Director of Nursing to plan and implement staff programs and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement staff development programs to enhance nursing skills and knowledge
  • Maintain accurate records of educational activities, attendance, and responses
  • Participate in Quality Assurance Performance Improvement (QAPI) meetings and projects
  • Collaborate with the Director of Quality and Director of Nursing to plan and implement staff programs and services
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Nurse Educator in Long Term Care
  • Current New York State Registered Nurse (RN) License
  • Previous experience working in a long-term care setting
  • Demonstrated ability to creatively educate and coach
  • CPR certification required, CPR trainer certified or willing to become a trainer
Estimated Salary: $75,000 - $95,000 per year
