Job Title: IT Project Manager

Boston Government Services, LLC is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to join our team. As an IT Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing IT projects from initiation to closure, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute project plans, including project scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
  • Lead and manage project teams, including IT technical personnel, functional personnel, and interfaces with internal and external customers.
  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders, including project sponsors, customers, and team members.
  • Manage project risks, issues, and changes, and develop mitigation plans to ensure project success.
  • Monitor and report project progress, including status, budget, and schedule.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry standards.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or information technology.
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of direct experience in IT project management, or Master's degree with a minimum of 1-4 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in Microsoft Project and/or Primavera (P6) proven experience or equivalent tool.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, time management skills, organizational skills, and oral and written skills.
  • A good understanding of risk management, risk mitigation, and contingency planning.
  • Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
  • Must be a US citizen.
  • Successful drug screening.
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a security or clearance badge.
  • Active Q Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • SAFe Certification.
  • Scrum Master Certification.
  • Agile Project Management Certification.
  • ITIL Foundations Certification.
  • ServiceNow experience with Agile Development and Project modules.
Location/Work Arrangement:

This position will be Hybrid working at the Y-12 site on Monday & Tuesday and working remote on Wednesday & Thursday.
