About the Role

US Tsubaki Automotive, LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Continuous Improvement initiatives and drive operational excellence throughout the plant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement lean manufacturing processes to drive continuous improvement and cost savings.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements, and drive cultural change.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to determine metrics and troubleshoot manufacturing and business issues.
  • Implement 5S, SMED, Value Stream Mapping, and Standard Work projects to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing personnel to improve existing processes, increase safety, and solve ergonomic concerns.
  • Develop and lead Kaizen events to drive continuous improvement and employee engagement.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of lean systems and processes throughout the plant.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or 10+ years of equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in lean manufacturing environment.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green belt preferred.
  • Experience with leading project teams and implementing lean systems.
  • Excellent technical skills, including mechanical and machining knowledge.
  • Ability to effectively manage lean or Kaizen events and supporting resources.
  • Strong analytical and coaching skills, with a goal to develop lean experts throughout the plant.
  • Transparent, results-oriented, and accountable with a strong customer focus.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and schematics.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office experience, with emphasis on Outlook, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint.
  • CAD knowledge preferred.
  • Occasional travel, less than 10%.
