Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Management Supervisor to join our team at CommonSpirit Health. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our engineering or facilities department, ensuring that our facilities are safe, efficient, and well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operations Management: Direct the work of employees, conduct regular staff meetings, maintain performance standards and records, plan work, and evaluate employee performance.
  • Financial Management: Achieve financial performance of department by managing to all expense budgets and cost containment targets, ensuring that expenditure authority and level are adhered to.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Maintain current records of all maintenance procedures, ensure that Preventative and Corrective Maintenance completion rate is at or above program targets.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma required, Associates Degree or Technical Certification with an emphasis on Business, Architecture, Engineering, and/or Construction preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in hospital maintenance/medical equipment operations management.
  • Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Working Conditions

Travel between Divisions/Markets/Hospitals approximately 10%.
