The Facilities Manager will oversee the management of our corporate headquarters, branch locations, and service centers, ensuring that all facilities are up-to-date and compliant with local building codes and lease specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the facilities team by coordinating internal maintenance and repair requests/projects at the Lexington facility.
  • Provide direction and information to vendors, general contractors, service providers, and staff at each location as needed.
  • Communicate and coordinate with regional compliance agencies (health, fire, and water quality) and process building permit applications and variances.
  • Research and understand local building code requirements and their impact on active projects and timelines.
  • Prepare facilities-related communications and act as a central point of contact.
  • Coordinate with location managers in the planning and management of facilities repair and maintenance projects.
  • Assist with large projects, such as compiling project scope of work, estimating, and scheduling information for review and approval.
  • Assist with sourcing contractors and service vendors, reviewing and negotiating vendor proposals, service level agreements, and rates, while obtaining certificates of insurance as needed.
  • Maintain positive relationships with corporate and location management.
  • Understand building operating, security, and IT systems, as well as managing P&L and budget responsibilities.
  • Coordinate with landlord/building owner via email and/or phone to enable network installation work and coordinate installation with Galls IT and the selected network vendor.
Requirements
  • Must have a general understanding of finance, leasing, legal, marketing, construction, IT, and network/telecommunication installation needs in various locations.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and communicate project plans/deadlines to Galls management team and assigned contractors and vendors.
  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Understands common terminology relating to IT network/telecommunication installations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently as a project leader.
