Job Summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Legal Assistant to join our team on a contract basis. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our legal teams, including scheduling, managing correspondence, and coordinating case materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Organize and maintain legal files and documents
  • Perform thorough legal research and analysis
  • Review and analyze documents relevant to legal cases
  • Manage e-filing for both state and federal courts
  • Draft and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
  • Conduct data entry to maintain up-to-date case records
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to legal teams
  • Efficiently handle incoming communications and maintain confidentiality
Requirements
  • Familiarity with legal terminology and procedures
  • Proven background in a Legal Assistant role or a comparable position
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and projects efficiently
  • Capacity to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Competency in utilizing computer software for tasks such as data entry, managing documents, and conducting legal research
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational abilities
  • High school diploma or equivalent
