The ideal candidate will possess robust Salesforce expertise, experience in managing substantial data volumes, and a proven track record of collaborating across diverse teams to create impactful tools.
PagerDuty supports a flexible, hybrid work environment, valuing in-person collaboration as a key aspect of our culture. This role will involve periodic visits to our office to foster connections and enhance teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to conceptualize, develop, interpret, and analyze requirements to align business process efficiencies and enhancements with system functionality, ensuring the accuracy of data feeding into the CRM systems.
- Develop solutions within Salesforce, utilizing both declarative and custom development approaches (Apex/Visualforce/Lightning Framework).
- Conduct verification and regression testing of new and existing functionalities prior to deployment to end users.
- Maintain and continuously enhance the Lead to Order process facilitated by Salesforce, Salesforce CPQ, DocuSign, and other related sales and procurement enterprise applications.
- Implement process enhancements and automation to optimize and support operational processes.
- Create and update documentation to assist in maintaining and troubleshooting newly developed applications and integrations.
Basic Qualifications:
- 5+ years of comprehensive Salesforce experience.
- 2+ years of Salesforce development experience in medium to large-scale, high-availability enterprise implementations, including Apex triggers, synchronous and asynchronous Apex classes, and test classes.
- 2+ years of Salesforce CPQ development experience.
- Proven ability to effectively translate technical requirements into independent features for development.
- Demonstrated capability to utilize both declarative and code solutions in Salesforce, selecting the most suitable approach for each requirement.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Salesforce integrations with billing systems.
- 1+ year of experience with Agile Methodology.
- Background in a SaaS organization.
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
- Experience in developing Flows.
- Proficiency in creating rich user experiences with custom Lightning components.
- Familiarity with Salesforce Lightning Design System, SOQL & SOSL, and the Salesforce data model.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively, building relationships across various teams including Sales, Sales Operations, Order Fulfillment, and Billing.
- Strong UI experience using JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, and CSS.
- Self-motivated and dependable team player with a track record of delivering projects on time.
- Strong capacity to thrive in a high-pressure, rapidly evolving environment.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a sense of urgency.
The base salary range for this position is competitive and may include additional compensation such as bonuses, commissions, equity, and benefits.
Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location, reflecting the minimum and maximum base salary we expect to offer newly hired employees for this position.
Within this range, compensation is determined based on various factors including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience.
