About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Director to lead the APLA One Nike Marketplace Partners Merchandising business and team. As a key member of the Asia Pacific and Latin America geography, you will be responsible for representing and serving the consumers who inhabit six major markets in this region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define the Nike Marketplace Partners Merchandising strategy and lead the team to land the seasonal assortment framework.
  • Create a cross-functionally aligned and intentional seasonal product go-to-market strategy.
  • Elevate our Partners offense to drive collective growth, profitability, and pull-market dynamics.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or combination of relevant education, experience, and training.
  • At least 8 years' experience in merchandising, product creation, and/or retail, in a vertical or wholesale environment.
  • Experience and understanding of apparel/footwear, retail, merchandising, and digital/e-commerce in global consumer marketplaces.
  • Ability to translate insights and retail results into actionable strategies and plans.
  • Strong Retail Acumen with proficiency in retail and profit-based metrics.
  • Multi-season assortment planning and pricing experience.
  • Marketplace awareness including retail, consumer, competitors, and products.
  • Ability to lead diverse and cross-functional dotted-line teams, manage complex projects, and balance multiple workstreams.
  • Strong multicultural communication and influencing skills.
