Job Overview

Dopl is at the forefront of capturing the essence of individuals and pets through high-resolution 3D modeling, transforming them into lifelike miniatures and collectibles. We are currently in search of a passionate and driven Retail Studio Manager for our retail location.

This role requires a dynamic leader who is enthusiastic about managing a retail environment while leveraging cutting-edge photogrammetry and 3D technology. The ideal candidate will be a creative storyteller, capable of crafting an engaging experience for customers and leading a team to effectively embody Dopl's brand ethos.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement tools that enhance the storytelling capabilities of the retail scanning team.
  • Manage all customer interactions, ensuring a seamless experience for both new and returning clients.
  • Innovate new customer experiences to broaden engagement and reach.
  • Ensure optimal functionality of our 3D scanning technology.
  • Oversee in-store ordering and operational systems, maintaining inventory and coordinating with service providers.
  • Contribute to the setup and management of mobile experiences.
  • Maintain high aesthetic standards within the studio environment.
  • Lead the retail team, including scheduling, payroll, recruitment, and training initiatives.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in retail or studio environments.
  • At least 1 year of management experience.
  • Prior experience in retail, particularly with products that require specialized knowledge.
  • Aptitude for learning and selling specialized products and services.
  • Strong communication skills characterized by warmth and sincerity.
  • Enthusiasm for new and emerging technologies.
  • Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with photography and DSLR cameras, or strong technical skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and a positive team player.
  • Availability during key holiday periods is essential.
  • Fluency in additional languages is advantageous.
