About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electronics Engineer to join our team at Lockheed Martin. As an Electronics Engineer, you will play a critical role in the design, development, and testing of advanced electronic systems for our space-based programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and test electronic systems for space-based applications, including satellite communications, spacecraft systems, and network security.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electronic systems with other components, such as software, mechanical, and electrical systems.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and technical reports.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of new technologies and processes to improve the design, development, and testing of electronic systems.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and technicians.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in electronics engineering, with a focus on space-based applications.
  • Strong knowledge of electronic systems, including circuit design, signal processing, and system integration.
  • Experience with software development, including programming languages such as C, C++, and Python.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with satellite communications, spacecraft systems, and network security.
  • Knowledge of Agile development methodologies and version control systems, such as Git.
  • Experience with simulation tools, such as SPICE and MATLAB.
