Phlebotomy Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team at Saint Mary's Hospital Lab in Waterbury, CT. As a Phlebotomist, you will play a vital role in the diagnosis, treatment, and care of our patients by collecting blood specimens and processing laboratory specimens for clinical analysis.
Responsibilities- Properly identify patients and perform venipuncture using standard/butterfly methods
- Label all specimens following laboratory policy
- Receive/cancel/orders and process laboratory/microbiology specimens
- High school diploma
- National Phlebotomy Certification preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of phlebotomy experience in a blood draw station, ambulatory care, or acute care setting
