Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Alarm Technician to join our team at Summit Fire Protection. As a Fire Alarm Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting, servicing, and maintaining various types of fire detection and alarm systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Installs, inspects, and services fire detection and alarm systems
  • Performs system testing and signal verification
  • Completes and submits all required task-related activities and documentation in a timely manner
  • Develops long-term relationships with customers and maintains customer retention

Requirements

  • Mechanical ability and basic hand tool knowledge
  • Low voltage experience
  • Ability to lift 75 lbs.+, safely use of ladders, work overhead, and work in tight spaces
  • Work efficiently with minimal supervision
  • Organizational skills are essential for success
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to learn quickly is a must
  • High school degree or equivalent
  • NICET license, preferred
