About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Officer to join our team at Providence Swedish. As a Security Officer, you will play a critical role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our patients, visitors, and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular patrols of hospital property to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
  • Respond to and investigate security incidents, including alarms and codes.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure a safe and secure environment for patients.
  • Document all security-related incidents and actions taken.
Requirements
  • Successful completion of TASER training and certification within 6 months of hire.
  • Customer service experience and/or training.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree.
  • 1 year of related civilian or military security/law enforcement experience.
  • Healthcare security experience.
