    • 1st Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities:

The Production Supervisor will:

  • Evaluate work orders to estimate labor hours and develop schedules that align with production requirements.
  • Calculate necessary stock and supplies based on production timelines and manage material requisitions.
  • Authorize work and provide area clearances while creating standard operating procedures and batch records.
  • Communicate specifications and job orders to team members, assigning tasks accordingly.
  • Organize material flow within the department and design process layouts.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders.
  • Inspect products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Guide team members in adjusting machinery to rectify any product discrepancies.
  • Propose and implement strategies to enhance production techniques, equipment efficiency, and product quality.
  • Recommend improvements in working conditions and equipment usage to boost operational efficiency.
  • Analyze and resolve workplace challenges, providing support to team members as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of time and production metrics.
  • Assist in justifying capital equipment investments aimed at enhancing quality, reducing costs, and improving cycle times.
  • Estimate, requisition, and assess materials for production needs.
Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a supervisory or leadership capacity.
  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing setting.
  • A strong grasp of manufacturing processes, ergonomics, and capacity planning.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication abilities, capable of motivating a diverse workforce.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address issues effectively.
  • A willingness to work 2nd shift as necessary to meet production demands.
