About the Lead Patient Care Coordinator Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to fill the role of Lead Patient Care Coordinator.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced clinical setting and be proficient in EMR systems.

This person will be responsible for managing front desk operations, scheduling appointments, and maintaining accurate patient records.

Responsibilities

  • Manage front desk operations including greeting patients, checking them in, and preparing them for their appointments.
  • Schedule appointments with physicians and maintain accurate schedules.
  • Maintain accurate patient records by updating information and scanning documents into EMR as needed.
  • Collect payment from patients and manage office supply inventory.

Qualifications

  • Experience working in a front-office receptionist or assisting in an office or healthcare clinic or in customer service.
  • Prior experience working in a podiatric or orthopedic practice is preferred.
  • Medical billing and coding experience is highly preferred.
  • Bilingual Spanish is highly preferred.
  • Experience working in an EMR, Athenahealth is preferred.

Compensation

The salary for this role is approximately $45,000 - $60,000 per year based on prior training and experience.
