About This Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Dental Assistant EFDA to join our team at Your Oviedo Dentist. As a key member of our dental care team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support, while working closely with our dentists to ensure the highest level of service.

Job Responsibilities
  • Chairside Assisting: Provide top-notch assistance to our dentists during procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for patients.
  • Digital X-rays and Intraoral Photos: Take high-quality digital x-rays and intraoral photos to aid in accurate diagnoses and treatment planning.
  • Temporary Restorations: Fabricate temporary restorations as needed to provide interim solutions for patients.
  • Dental Lab Work and Case Management: Collaborate with our lab team to ensure timely and accurate production of dental prosthetics and other restorations.
  • Scheduling and Communication: Schedule appointments and communicate effectively with patients via phone and text to ensure seamless communication.
Requirements
  • EFDA Certification: Must be certified as an Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA).
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher preferred.
  • Competencies: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Salary Range

$55,000 - $65,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
